Good Morning…

Quicky Quick version….

  • I volunteered at my daughter’s school today. They are having the third grade Field Day. I have to be there the entire day…With over 100 third graders. Fun? Heh.
  • My daughter is obsessed with the movie Pitch Perfect. I have watched it (no lie) 12 times in the last week. I love the movie. But I now have every song from the movie, playing in my head…Every minute of the day.
  • Cody now recognizes us. He can also get up on the couch himself. Today was the day I was supposed to have to make “the decision”. I’m deciding he is going to be here for a while longer.
  • My infection? No pretty…But healing. Another abscess is showing up. Thank god no one sees my boobs.
  • I went shopping for new clothes yesterday. I actually bought…Should I say it…Colors! I know!!! I also bought dresses. I haven’t worn dresses in over ten years. Long maxi dresses. LOVE them. I also bought tank tops. I would hardly wear short sleeves last year…Now TANKS! I am happy.

Okay Kids…I’m off.

Going to go put on my purple tank and head off to school. Purple is my daughter’s class color for today. How about that?!

Have an amazing day…Do something nice for someone today.

Thank you….

I will keep that in mind.

Although, I don’t plan on having more plastic surgery…Just the reduction.

I keep thinking…At least I didn’t have work done on my face and then this happened. At least it’s somewhere that stays covered up.

I’m just nervous because I have been in antibiotics for a week…And it stiff is not healing over and is red and painful. Not to mention…I have a gaping hole there.

I’m not talking about the scars from the initial surgery… Those were healing nicely until the infections started.

The abscesses and infections are compromising the “pretty” work he did.i understand what you mean…but this is different. Unless you had gaping holes that appeared on your incision sites that were infected…Then that would give me hope.

I also have two other abscesses forming…and I have been on antibiotics for seven days now.

Thanks for trying to make me feel better though…I really do appreciate it…But I think our circumstances are different.

The Doctor Says…

just-gene said: What has the Dr. said?

That instead of my body absorbing the sutures…

It is trying to expel some of them through my skin.

Causing what is called a suture granuloma…

Which causes infections and abscesses on my scars.

It’s disgusting and painful.

It’s happened three times now…

They cannot guarantee it’s not going to happen again.

I’m really bummed.
